Usage Policy

By using my work in your content, you are agreeing to the rules stated below. For questions or inquiries about the usage policy, please fill out the form on the contact page.

If any of the following policies are violated, your content may be claimed. THIS IS NOT A COPYRIGHT STRIKE. If commercial or unauthorized use of my work is executed without a license or explicit, written permission, proper legal action will be pursued.

This policy is current as of October 20, 2025

Youtube video usage
- State the artist name (Pankake) and put the song title in the description, as well as a link to my YouTube and Linktree.
Livestreams
- CLEARLY display the track name and artist on your livestream (NOT in the description). This applies even if the music is being used as "background music". Exception is made if the music appears in a rhythm game level, or is included in the game being streamed.
Games
- If you want to use my works in your game, please contact me via the contact page on this site to discuss a licensing fee. If you are a fan and wanting to use my music for a FAN-MADE-LEVEL, you are welcome to do so freely, provided that credit is given (artist name, song title, etc.)
- AS OF APRIL 24, 2025, MY MUSIC IS PROHIBITED FROM BEING USED IN THE FOLLOWING GAMES AND/OR RE-UPLOADED ONTO THESE SITES:
  - Geometry Dash
  - Newgrounds
Remixes/Edits
- You are more than welcome to remix or make edits of my tracks! I'm honored and flattered you've considered it. Please follow these guidelines for uploading or publishing your work:
  - If you wish to distribute on platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music (not a YouTube video), BandCamp, or other streaming services and stores, you MUST contact me via the contact page on this site to discuss a licensing fee and distribution. Distribution of this nature will be considered "commercial use".
  - You may publish the remix/edit on platforms such as SoundCloud or Youtube (as a video) with monetization turned off (else your video will be claimed! not striked!). Credit must follow the same guidelines as the YouTube video bullet point in this case. (yes, even on SoundCloud)
- One other guideline that I have with these...and this is an important rule...have fun with it! And make sure you let me know that you did something by tagging me on Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, or even by saying something in the Discord server (just don't ping me pls haha). This is optional, but I'd love to see what you all end up doing with my works in the future!
